The Fayette County Sheriff's Deparment is located in the county seat, Fayetteville, West
Virginia. Our office is located in the Court House Complex. The Department employs 31 Deputy Sheriffs', 1
Chief Law Enforcement Deputy, 2 Transport Officers, and an Animal Control Officer. Law enforcement services for the
667 square mile county are provided by our department, the WV State Police and 7 Municipality Departments.
